Oban Forest is situated on Blairlogie – Langdale Road, East of Masterton. The forest is made up of two separate stands, one being a well-established second rotation Pinus Radiata stand with a Net Stocked Area of 19.7 hectares showing excellent growth and form. The second being 19 hectares of mature Pine crop, pruned to six meters and showing excellent form and volume.

There is direct access off the public Blairlogie-Langdale Road to the young age class and a legal ROW completes the access to the mature block which is very straight forward. The mature block lends itself to a ground base harvest method.

Oban is not registered in the ETS but does appear to be eligible.
