Alpaca Facts.....

• Alpacas are easy care and require the basics, food, water and shelter.
• They need to be shorn once a year and require basic husbandry ie. feet trimming and drenching.
• They can be easily halter trained
• They do not spit unless really provoked
• Alpacas only have bottom teeth like sheep, and never bite
• You can run alpacas on as little as 2 acres of land.
• Alpacas need company, therefore need to live with other alpacas.
