Delargy Downs (close to Kurow) - a private high country hunting block and farm (686 Ha) in Hakataramea Valley, South Canterbury, with excellent hunting in true wild format - open country, deep valleys, beautiful vistas, Mount Victoria is the high point.

Well tracked for 4WD access to many places.

Car access to The Hunters Woolshed, horses and dogs welcome (dogs must be under control and not permitted to stray.)

Accomodation in The Hunters Woolshed (sleeps 4 - 5) plus exclusive access to genuine open country and great hunting - fallow, wallaby and a few reds.

Hunting and property use is available all year round - no seasonal closures because there is no calving or lambing on the property, but snow is a risk in winter & spring months.

3 single beds, one double, kitchen, bar stools, long drop, bath with shower fitting, gas hob, shooting range with gong for sighting guns. Great fireplace in woolshed with plenty of dry firewood.

Non hunters might like to bring their horses or just chill out and enjoy this beautiful farm park.

Only ever one hunting party on the property at a time, so the party members liase with each other to ensure safety and success.

Year round: $5,000 + gst Opportunity fee to enjoy the property exclusively and hunt for up to 3 nights / 4 days - dates confirmed by prior arrangement, bookings essential.

Easter Weekend and other Public Holiday Weekends: $6,000 + gst Opportunity fee for 3 nights / 4 days.

One-off / one day hunts by arrangement, POA for specific trophies.

Maximum of 4 hunters, one meat animal and one stag per hunter, unlimited wallabies and other small game.

Experienced guide available by prior arrangement at extra cost.
