Some of my students have made it into Berklee and GIT – now Musicians Institute (US), different Conservatoriums in Europe and CPIT (NZ) and Parachute artist development programme, as well as started or maintained professional music careers in New Zealand and overseas.

Whether you're a beginner or you're wanting to progress further, students ages 7 and up are welcome. Lessons / lesson plans are tailored to suit the type of music you enjoy and the speed at which you wish to develop (which includes time to study). While weekly lessons are the general plan, other options are available. Enquire about other options.

• The monthly fee covers four weekly lessons. Should there be a fifth lesson day in your month, that lesson is provided at no charge. Monthly plans are paid in advance. ** A decent webcam is a minimum requirement, booking confirmed upon receipt of tuition fee.

Along with teaching the guitar, bass or ukulele I can incorporate:

• Music theory (up to an advanced level)
• Composition
• Improvisation (soloing)
• Ear training/Aural
• Basic reading (melodic and rhythm) This is useful if you or your child is doing NCEA music.
