Thank you Shah for your tutoring of my son Dan (Year 11 last year). After failing his mock exams we got in touch with Shah, who saw straight away where Dan's gaps and problems were. Calculus was the main aim, with Tables, Graphs & Equations a close second. Dan ended up with Excellence in Calculus and Merit in Tables, Graphs & Equations - a wonderful outcome, thank you so much.

Both my boys have been seeing Shah for a couple of years now and he is amazing! Both my kids were struggling with maths and he has turned that all around. My boys are now in years 12 & 13 and they both speak really highly of how patient he is and how easy he is to understand - highly recommended.

Shah is an efficient teacher, friendly, he's very experienced math tutor, my daughter is quite enjoy learning from him, he's fun, highly recommend.

Shah helped my daughter's ( year 11 ) NCEA level 1 math exam. She recovered her confidence in math by having tutoring with Shah and achieved Merit which she did not expect. Thank you Shah.

Shah is an excellent tutor. He is knowledgeable, very experienced and adapts his lessons to the student’s individual needs. My son found him very approachable and helped him to understand maths in a fun and enjoyable way. He feels confident and ready to sit his maths exams after tutoring sessions with Shah. Shah tutored our daughter in Y11 maths last year. She started at a poor level, with no confidence and difficulties understanding her class teacher. We were all thrilled with her NCEA results of merits! Shah was great, and our daughter enjoyed the group sessions, totally recommend, will be returning this year.

Shah has a very relaxed but encouraging tutoring style. My daughters marks improved greatly and she got to a place where she felt confident going into her Math examinations. I would highly recommend Shah to any math student needing some extra help.

Shah is a fantastic tutor. The lessons move at a good pace, and he makes concepts I previously found difficult seem easy.

Our son currently Y8 doing IB loves Maths and has always done well. He felt the need to be challenged more and wanted to lift his results even further. He started tuition with Shah and within a couple of weeks in his next Assessments, he scored the coveted '8.' His tutor session with Shah the highlight of his week, he loves exploring ideas with Shah and finds Shah incredibly kind and motivating and his teaching technique practical, simple and thorough. The best Tutor ever!!! :):):)

Our Year 11 son started the year lacking confidence and achieving average results. Since starting his private tuition, with help from Shah, his school results have immensely improved to near A grade and his understanding and enjoyment of Cambridge Maths has grown. We would definately recommend Shah and we hope the end of year results will be testiment to his teaching

Shah has been working with my year 10 son, who has been struggling with Math, for around 6 weeks now. Two weeks ago my son sat a Math exam which would give him 4 NCEA credits towards his NCEA next year and he passed. I highly recommend Shah. He is patient and is definitely helping my son's understanding of math.

I am in the process of studying for the NZ Defence Force aptitude tests, so the high school maths revision was quite daunting for me, as high school was a while ago! :) Shah has a very personal approach and makes you feel comfortable straight away, making the learning process fun, using concepts or examples that you can relate to. He has been very flexible and understanding of my situation and has tailored our sessions to focus on my requirements. Highly recommend this tutor!

My daughter is a bright student in all areas. Her progress in Maths has always been good, but even so, we feel that school leaves gaps in knowledge, in Maths in particular. As individual questions remain unanswered and the teacher has to skip to new topics, students’ stress levels increase unnecessarily. I am glad we came across Shah’s ad and I am pleased with the way he tutors my daughter. As the gaps are filled in, her confidence increases. We look forward to more sessions throughout the year.

Shah helped my 18-year-old son with his SAT maths study. After reading the other reviews here, I can only concur with them. My son looked forward to the sessions (a first!) and even said he was disappointed when the SAT test date came because they would have to end! He really appreciated the way Shah could break problems down to explain them clearly and also made the maths tutoring enjoyable at the same time. I would say he has a gift and would recommend to others with no hesitation.

Brilliant tutor. Boosted my confidence in A Level mathematics. Highly recommended.

Shah was an excellent tutor for my daughter when she was struggling with NCEA level 2 maths. He lifted her confidence and enabled her to pass with a Merit. I would thoroughly recommend him and will definitely return if extra tuition is needed again. Thanks so much Shah

He is knowledgeable and very experienced - yet he helps the student understand by making the lessons simple, fun and enjoyable. My son always comes away from Shah's lessons in a better mood and frame of mind.

Having no calculus and algebra background throughout high school it was a big shock to me when taking my first stage 1 maths paper at UOA. However Mr Khan has made the transition very comfortable.
