Victor is a wonderful driving instructor. He is incredibly patient and kind, making you feel totally comfortable even in difficult new driving situations. He explains things very clearly, which makes picking up new driving components manageable. Because of him, I passed my restricted test on my first try, which my testing officer told me only 20% of people do. I would definitely recommend driving lessons with him!

Victor is an amazing driving instructor! He is patient, friendly, and I enjoyed his jokes and stories. I started my lessons nervous, but he is extremely knowledgeable, flexible with scheduling lessons around my work, and found effective ways to teach me. I only took lessons from Victor as I didn’t have anyone else to teach me, but even with just Victor’s lessons I was able to pass my Restricted on my first try! I would highly recommend driving lessons with Victor. He is very patient, polite and friendly and gives a lot of valuable hints and tips on the road as well as points out the areas to improve. I put off moving from learners to restricted for 7 years. After taking lessons from other driving instructors I came to Auckland Driving School, within 2 months I passed my restricted first attempt with no errors thanks to Victor who went above and beyond to make it happen. He was very friendly, supportive and informative. He really knows his stuff and his lessons and jokes were the highlight of my week, a real professional. I cannot recommend Auckland driving school enough.

Victor is a very friendly and knowledgeable instructor. I practised driving with him for my practical test and it was great. Started my lessons being less confident in driving on NZ roads and became very confident and knowledgable as the classes went on. He really improved my level of driving. Victor helped my son gain confidence after he’d failed his restricted test a couple of times. He had some excellent refining tips and was very reassuring and encouraging. After just 2 lessons, he did pass and with an almost perfect drive. He communicated very well and had a sense of humour that Oscar enjoyed. Absolutely remarkable instructor! From absolute zero to full license in 9 months. In fact I took just about 20 lessons and a defensive driving course which Victor also provides. Passed on my restricted and full exams from the first attempt. Not only is Victor a very effective instructor, he’s also just a nice friendly person. PASSED on the first attempt and it is all thanks to Viktor. I would definitely recommend taking lessons with Viktor. He is very calm, informative, super friendly and explains the road rules in a way that are easy to grasp. Viktor is also very reliable. He was never late and didn't cancel any of my lessons (I had 48) but was super flexible when I needed to amend them. I was VERY nervous before the test but Viktor helped me change my mentality around which resulted in a PASS! Thankyou so much :)

I would recommend Victor as a driving instructor. He has many years of experience not only teaching but with the protocol that is used during driving tests in the area and therefore knows what examiners are expected of you in the test and also as you further your driving outside of testing conditions. He is calm and easygoing and teaches to suit your learning style.

What differs him from the other instructor is his dedication and patience to ensure you are proficient in an area before moving on to the next. The other excellent point of having Victor as your instructor is he ensures that he's with you at least once a week consecutively until you are ready to sit for your test. I highly recommend Victor as a professional driving teacher. He has tons of experience. And what was more important for me that he knows the right words to easily explain existing mistakes and reveal the logic of what you should do. It's always interesting and helpful.
