Something you don't see every day - a little demitasse cup and saucer, the cup marked marked 'Mansion House Kawau Island NZ'. Cup has an impact mark with a bit of attendant chipping and substantial hairline cracking but is still intact and displays well. The saucer shows signs of use but is sound.
From the collection of a former Kawau Island resident, and now probably few and far between. Evocative of the golden summers of the Hauraki Gulf of the 1950s and 60s.
