Description
Great vintage advertisement for Lux Soap - would look fantastic framed and hung in a bathroom or laundry.
It is a copy of a page from The Graphic Magazine for 31 August 1901.
Quite happy to pack well in a cylinder for postage.
Lux Soap advertisement states "Lux lathers readily, is convenient to use, and makes our water, which is very hard, as soft as rain water".
So if you have a lady in your house that feels shattered by doing the laundry for hours and is ready to be mislead by not quite truthful advertising from 1901 then this is the illustration for you - its wonderful!
Leftover from the decoration of our 1866 cottage - we have framed some similar advertisements and they look fantastic.
