Quite a neat, & very retro & rustic Flagallon, perhaps a retro alloy Beer Barrel or Flask ? & seems to be about 1 gallon or 4.2 Litres odd, & is NZ made, as per photos. (except that camera flash can change colours & shades etc & make things look brighter & better than they really are) A quite different piece and am not 100 % sure what it is. It had a lot of dirt & oxidation on it, which I have wire brushed off, but did not do the top. I used a power wire brush on a stand so could not get into where the top is. Has written underneath, Flagallon, Made by Alamaso (?) Asia Ltd, Lower Hutt NZ Scald Before Use Rinse After. A useful piece for something, in good reasonable rustic condition for its age. As it is old and rustic it will have wear, scrapes marks, flaws & faults, needs a good clean and or rub down to get rid of surface oxidation, dirt grime etc, and then a good polish if you want to do that. The top wire handle is frozen. It measures approx 225mm high to the rim, approx 250mm high including spout, 190mm odd wide, approx 150mm odd wide at rim and base. Weighs approx 1.7kg odd. Measurements are given, so please use those & compare them to something else you own to give you a good idea of size. There's a number of photos, hopefully enough, to try & give a good indication of state & condition etc, & to help you decide its value & suitability to your use, whatever that may be. So PLEASE, use those photos to help you see & gauge its faults, condition and other things you may want to know. And if not sure, ask a question !!!! (some people buy to use, some for display, some for props in a play, etc etc). We allow pickups, but if you do not want to pickup, then we can send for you, on your behalf, at your risk.
