The print on the other side reads:
Scotch Whisky Stoneware Jug c1880s
Made by Port Dundas Pottery Co. in Glasgow which is clearly embossed / stamped / marked on the bottom of the jug. (see photos)
The size is approximately 5 inches across at the widest point
and 8 inches in height.
There is a fine crack at the base of the handle.
The top/ lip is a glaze discolouration.
In good condition.
