Description

General Electric Sewhandy Portable Sewing Machine manufactured during the 1920's and 1930's.

This machine is believed to be the precurser to the Singer Featherweight and the original Sewhandy was manufactured by the Standard Sewing Machine Company which was later purchased by Singer.
Singer kept some of the features when they released the 221 Featherweight in 1933.

The machine is in good condition, sews well and the light works. Complete with original case, instruction book and accessories. It has a little oil can which has never been used, see pic 1.
