A superb 1960s NZ Iconic Whites Aviation Hand Tinted Photo of Milford Sound...a brilliant view showing Mitre Peak in the background, and two boats on the fiord... ( I wonder if the owners of those boats ever realized that they were immortalized )
The previous owners of this example obviously appreciated it as it is in lovely condition with minimal signs of any wear including the frame ( one little Nick to the frame is shown in one photo).
Its is signed lower left "Milford Sound", and lower right "Whites".
On its reverse..there is a card denoting it as a Christmas Gift in 1963. ( Wonderful Gift!)
It measures 765mm by 460mm.
