A fabulous piece of iconic Mid Century Modern art Glass in this 1950s designed "Molar" Bowl Vase by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars Glass England.
It is in Whitefriars glass catalogues as shape number as Number 9409, but for obvious reasons is affectionately known as the "Molar ".
It is a curvaceous and chunky piece of Art Glass made in Ruby Red Glass... with controlled bubbles throughout and a beautifully perfect polished out pontil mark to its base.
The piece weighs just over 1,3kgs and measures 145mm across by 90mm tall.
No cracks or chips...lovely condition.
