REDUCED IN PRICE Absolutely gorgeous 'Victorian' dinnerset by Johnson Brothers, England.

Rich creamy dishes with gold and green trim.

Believed to have been made in the 1920s when this particular clay was available to Johnson Brothers England.

56 pieces in total, the set includes: 4 x tureens + lids. 1 lid has a fine crack, slight crazing is evident on all. 6 x cups - no saucers at this stage but I'm still hoping to find them in a box in the shed :( One cup has a chip on the outside edge of the rim next to the handle. 4 x oval serving platters of varying sizes. The two smallest have crazing evident and there is some wear to the green stripes on all. 4 x coupes - obviously the most used as the pattern is almost all gone. 1 has 2 chips under the edge of the rim. 1 x gravy jug w/drip saucer. Not convinced the saucer is the same as the rest of the set as doesn't have the same number of green lines. 6 x 22.5cm plates - 2 have the gold slightly faded. 6 x 25.5cm plates w/ minor cutlery scrapes 5 x 17.5cm plates, 4 have chips, all 5 have fading of stripes - one much more so than the others. 5 x 20cm plates - crazing evident on all, one has crack. 5 x 22cm plates - 1 with crazing evident 5 x 25cm plates - crazing evident, one severely so.

I stupidly passed up the chance about five years ago to buy the dessert bowls and fruit bowl at $20 each and have kicked myself ever since. So there are more parts to this dinnerset out there in New Zealand.

This is the grande dame of Johnson Brothers dinnersets and looks fabulous set out on a white snowy tablecloth amongst crystal glasses and silver cutlery.

I'm hoping to find someone that will love it as much as I have. It has been a privilege to own it.
