You are bidding for an accumulation of 32 coins in total with identical mint errors, as pictured.

The 5 Cents 2004 coin often comes with flaws which were caused by die cracks and/or scratches in the dies. There are a large number of variations of such mint errors with that coin, more than at any other modern coin I know of.

Here, on all of these coins I am selling in this auction I can see:

On the reverse a major die crack that I call the "shooting seagull". Also, there is a small spike off the Queen's chin on the obverse. See photos.

This 5 cent coin was very rare when it was still current in NZ. Most of the 5 C 2004 coins got discarded before they were put into circulation because of mint errors. The remainder went to Europe into the coin collector's market. In the meantime many of the exported coins found their way back to NZ, and the price of a 5 C 2004 coin fell dramatically due to ample supply.

Therefore, now is the time to start a collection of the different variations of that coin at reasonable cost.

All coins are UNCIRCULATED some with a few bag marks (average MS 63).
