ABOUT This is a wooden framed map of "North Island, New Zealand" after Alexander Scally circa 1888.

Using colour printed engraving technique this is a large scale map of the North Island with excellent detail. Railway lines noted and counties shown. This rare map is from the Picturesque Atlas of Australasian which was the most ambitious publishing venture in Australian history up to the 1900's.

CONDITION Immaculate as new condition. Images are taken to minimise reflection of the glass.
