An absolutely stunning folio size fashion plate from Paris for the emerging New York fashion market. This is an original hand coloured steel engraving . There were 4 plates in the series and only 1 plate is in the the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Extremely rare. Large folio. 450 x 320 mm. Slight handling marks to the borders otherwise in VG condition. RARE
