Description
Antique probably French-made Double Edged DAGGER
Not dissimilar in design to the famous WW2 era F-S knife or Fairbairn-Sykes Commando dagger
The maker of this HIGH QUALITY Dagger has NOT maker-marked his fine workanship....... as was typical for many European daggers and knives especially French made during the 19th Century
Both handle and scabbard appear to have been created from some kind of animal horn
Unusual RING belt mount on scabbard
CONDITION = Should be readily-apparent in my images.
Please do view all images before bidding as the photos are the most important part of my condition description
If you have any QUESTIONS do feel free to ask, but don't wait till the last day/hour of auction, if you require a response in time to bid
Sold "On behalf" from an old Kiwi collection of high quality antique knives
HERE to be SOLD
RESERVED at less than what this item was purchased for by its now elderly owner, over 10 years ago
There is a "Buy it NOW" option ......... for those who find an honest auction-process tedious
Should reserve not be met ? Then this item MAY be "offered" after auction, but will ONLY be offered-out to TM members that bothered to place a BID
This is NOT a TOY and BUYER must be at least 18 years old
If you are a NEW CUSTOMER ? & If you are unable to email me a copy of your driver's licence, at auction-end?? Then please do not bid on this item
