Two metal swords with engraved blades and wood and fabric sheaths.

I know very little about these - they've been in storage a while and in need of a clean. There is a small crack on one of the handles (pictured) and the fabric needs re-gluing in some places. I'd like to think they could be beautifully restored, but not really my area of expertise.

I would assume they are ceremonial, but the tip of the blades are quite sharp. Could be replicas? Not sure, sorry.
