The absolutely lovely and utterly charming Barbara Leigh is the former American actress and fashion model who made her breakthrough, in 1972, with the movie "Junior Bonner", in which she starred alongside her then-boyfriend Steve McQueen.

Barbara was the very first model to wear the iconic Vampirella costume on the cover of the original Warren Vampirella magazine. That was issue #67 in March 1978 and it still makes hearts jump :)

In 2002, Barbara published her memoir titled "The King, McQueen, and The Love Machine" in which she recounts her romances with Elvis, McQueen, and Jim Aubrey. It's a terrific read.

In January 2014, Barbara retired from Playboy Enterprises Inc. after working with the company for almost 17 years.
