Description
Note that number in brackets in auction title is only my inventory number.
Meteorite strewnfield originally found with a metal detector by a prospector searching for gold in the gold basin area of Mohave County, Arizona, USA in 1995. It is highly weathered and apparantly fell more than 14 million years ago -making it one of the older known meteorites and older than most meteorites usually last on earth. Classified as a L4 Stone Olivine Hypersthene Chondrite. If you watch the TV series "Meteorite men" starring Geoff Notkin and Steve Arnold (Two personal friends of mine) you will find that they regularly search the Gold Basin Strewnfield.
Buyer gets exact meteorite specimen shown in the photo.
See all of my other Rocks and crystals on Trademe also.
This is coming from Australia. I used to have a crystal shop in North Shore Auckland (Earthly Treasures) where I had the lowest priced Crystals in New Zealand. I often get old customers asking me to come back as the New Zealand rock clubs and shops dont offer the same value that my shop did. I closed my shop and moved to Australia but through my trademe auctions I can still supply New Zealand with Rocks and crystals at a great price. More will get added all the time.
