Stunning Japanese Wireless Cloisonne Vase (Musen Shippo; the wires are removed before [final] firing(s)). It comes with its original box and brochure about the Cloisonne Process. It is not signed but was made by Ando Studios. There are several telltale signs this is an Ando - the subject matter - Peony, the inside enamel colour, the weight of the vase, the stand - but mostly the Peonies - these are definitely Ando Peonies. They are extremely well executed as expected for an Ando.
The vase is in mint immaculate as new condition. The box and stand are immaculate as well, there is a tiny bit of aging to the inside of the box, but it is extremely minimal. It is an incredible vase, dating to circa 1980, so it has been very well cared for. It is a very heavy well made vase.
The vase is about 24.5cm high without the stand. It is about 26.8cm high with the stand. It is about 11cm wide. It weighs about 1.39kg unpacked (just the vase).
The box measures 31.3cm long x 16.9cm wide x 13.3cm high.
