This is a very very rare & charming antique taxidermy piece....

It came back to NZ with an engineer who was working on the Panama canal from 1903 - 1910, and I've owned it for years directly from his estate

It's two alligator foetuses / babies, in a pose of dancing together

It's in an antique dome with wood base. The glass on this dome is also old & has the slightly rippled look of very old glass

Nothing else like it on the international market, but another 1920s baby alligator souvenir sold for NZ $518, back in 2013

DIMENSIONS: 15cm high

CONDITION: Obviously very old, so not perfect. Worst damage is a bit missing from the end of one tail

FREIGHT: Happy to package very well & post anywhere in NZ for $9, otherwise collection from Central Wellington is welcome
