Mexican chess set, I bought this in Mexico 13 years ago, it depicts the American, Mexicano war in the 1840's the figureins are some sort of stone but don't know what. They are very nicely calved and the board is well made, there are a few marks on the board but that is how I bought it. No room to display it now so hopefully someone will get joy out of this awesome chess set. Full size is 525mm x 525mm, figurines are 90-100 mm high
