Diamine is an English Ink Manufacturer that has been around since 1864 and has been steadily gaining favour worldwide with fountain pen aficionados for their high quality inks and wide range of colours. All Diamine ink colours are safe for both modern and vintage pens with a reasonable degree of water resistance (but are NOT completely waterproof). The inks write smoothly and shade beautifully.

Diamine Imperial Blue is a great royal blue that tends almost to a business-like purple in wider nibs. It is sufficiently conservative to be used for work whilst still retaining enough personality that you know the writer wasn't just using a common Bic.

Disposable ball-points and rollerballs contribute to the landfill problem and are wasteful as they only contain 1 to 2 ml of ink, require more writing pressure and are uncomfortable to use for extended periods of time.

Use a refillable fountain pen and differentiate yourself from others with improved handwriting, unusual inks and do your bit for the environment while making writing easier. A 30ml bottle is equivalent to at least 15 disposable pens.

Fountain pens can be bought for very reasonable prices and will outlast dozens of disposable pens. I have a pen from my grandfather that still goes perfectly!
