This is a c.1940's trough flower vase which for the last 10 years has been only used as a letter holder.
The brass exterior has a stamped rose motif and is in good condition and the interior has the remnants of green paint (which I assume is original to the piece) presumably to protect the brass from corrosion. I think as a vase it would need some sort of plastic insert to keep in water tight.
Measures 21cm long and 9.5cm wide and 10.5cm high.
Hard to find good vintage pieces like this anymore.
