Fully and Clearly hallmarked for William Dee this piece was commisioned by and comes directly from the World Famous Skulls collection of Dr.Atanas Karamov, Personal Physician to King Ferdinand I Dr.Karamov was also a member of the first Bulgarian Masonic Lodge named “Balkanska Zvezda” c1890's .

"Henry William Dee", London works of his are exhibited in Victoria & Albert Museum. On a less ambitious scale Dee’s have long attracted the attention of collectors of unusual silver novelties of the type they regularly made for Garrard’s, Leuchars & Son and Asprey’s and other retail silver and goldsmiths. The patterns for many were registered as copyright and the designs, which survive in the UK National Archives, make a fascinating study. Hid reputation as a manufacturing silversmith was second to none.
William Henry Dee has a reputation for the excellent quality of their designs and workmanship and as such has items exhibited in the Victoria and Albert Museum. Many of his designs were registered and copyrighted and still exist as a fascinating study within the National Archives. His work is highly sought after by collectors.
