Uncommon combined double sovereign case with vesta.
50 x 55mm approx.
61g in weight.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1904. Maker's mark, S.M.L. for Samuel L Levi who had factories in Frederick and Vyse streets Birmingham.
I would say that it has been used a lot over the years. The odd minor ding and one side is slightly depressed where the thumb has been used to hold it when being used. The spring for the vesta lid is weak. A few scratches, patina?
Courier is covered by the Post Office up to $2000, ordinary postage $250.
