Miniature sheet in full colour issued as a cinderella to celebrate the opening of a working actual-size replica of Benjamin Franklin's Wooden Printing Press, in 2007.

The press is located at the Museum of Transport & Technology, Western Springs, Auckland, and can be seen in operation most Sundays.

Text below the sheet of six stamps reads:

Constructed by Capt. Frank Brough (at right in the photos) from original specifications held in the Smithsonian Institute.

NOTE: These are souvenir stamps only, and not postally-valid. To use on mail, you should add a NZ Post or Pete's Post stamp next to it.

Frank Brough, the constructor of this press (shown in the two photos on the stamps) sadly passed away in 2009, so the offer to build similar presses no longer applies.

These stamps are not produced or authorised by MOTAT.
