A stunning very fine white linen suppercloth with lovely very fine cross stitch embroidery of chinese characters including pagodas and lotus trees.
It appears to be unused but would date from the 1940s.
88cm x 88cm.
Edged with hand stitch blue blanket stitch.
Given to us in a carton of vintage linen. Been in storage for years so freshly laundered.
