4 old English carving chisels- (1) Long one, 30.5 cm overall, blade width just a smidgin over 1.8 cm, stamped W. Marples & sons, nice condition, blade end cut on a slight angle unsure if it is supposed to be this way or not?, the handle has a crack running its length but when you look from the hammering end it looks very shallow as it looks only a few mm deep, and there is no movement in it at all. (2) Curved bladed chisel approximately 22 cm long, handle is split and quite a portion is missing, blade looks in good nick, blade stamped S.J. Addis No5? England. Blade approximately 1.35 cm wide at the cutting edge, (3) Curved bladed chisel approximately 20.8 cm long, the blade has a nick out of it, stamped S.J. Addis No7?, the blade width is 1 cm. (4) Very small narrow bladed chisel, for the fine work I would say, my pics will probably make it look munted because my pics are up close and personal, but I think the cutting edge could be dressed up quite well, remember the cutting edge is small approximately 2 mm or 0.2 cm. Overall length is approximately 18.3 cm, stamped S.J. Addis England No 1? I have put a question mark after the number quoted because it is quite hard to read where it is cut into the steel but I think I am right.
