Description

New Zealand flax, punamu is from the new river area of Marsden (shaped by a local Bay of Plenty carver) and peacock feathers. All hand made by a New Zealand contemporary weaving from the Bay of Plenty. Paki, also known as Kakahu, are traditionally worn for ceremonial occasions. It is intended as an art piece but is constructed so it can be worn. Approximately 70cm wide (see ruler in picture for relativity). Comes in a custom made acid free storage box.
