The photocopied pieces of cardboard Hallmark starts putting out at this time of year are always pretty uninspiring, so this year I decided to make some Christmas cards of my own. Well technically they're not Christmas cards, because they're made of wood, but I'm sure you'll agree that "Christmas woods" doesn't have the same ring to it.

Anyway, the wood itself is smooth enough that you can write your own personal message on it in pen, pencil, or permanent marker, and there's plenty of room on the back to do so.

They measure 21cm x 16.5cm x 0.4cm, so you can post them individually in a C5-sized envelope for $2 (or 2 x KiwiStamps) nationwide.
