We love Dunedin artist Frank Gordon's work and are fortunate to have two of his pieces on our walls. However, we don't have room for a number of our paintings and have decided to part with a couple.

"Sea spirits" is an early work by Frank, painted before he became well known. We bought it in 2004 and it has graced our home ever since. It is a large painting with a lot happening in it. The colors too are spectacular. No doubt we will regret parting with it, but.... It's too great a painting to live in a storage room!

Considering the prices his larger works fetch these days our start/reserve is realistic.

Final weeks. We have reached our lowest reserve! Now a bargain.
