A rare stunning framed watercolour painting of a soldier diving for a trench following an explosion in WW1. This is a magnificent piece...

Size 535mm x 424mm

Please excuse reflections on glass in the last image

This soldier was painted by my grandfather who initialled his paintings DM with the year they related to and usually following his initials...This one is a beaut framed and mounted.

I have a few of his paintings to sell (along with some of my fathers and my own). My grandfather was a NZMR in WW1. We all were (or in my case are) artists with an interest in military subjects and portraits.
