Pamela W. Woodlock (1946-2015) was a member of the Canty Soc of Artists and Coca (Centre of Contemporary Art). NZ Portrait Gallery Competition finalist and Award of Merit recipient.
Her work was exhibited but rarely made available to the public. This painting is from her private collection.
Painting is Signed, on hardboard and measures 45cm by 65.5cm. I believe the symbolism of the cross behind is deliberate.
The state of mind of the subject is superbly revealed in this work.
