Description
This is a wonderful period decoration piece, with an excellent mid-century aesthetic.
Lovely photograph, which I believe is hand coloured (black & white photo coloured with translucent oils).
Very much in the manner of Whites Aviation, but I'm unsure who produced the piece.
In any case, it is an excellent historical New Zealand photograph, and highly decorative piece that is possibly one of a kind.
The auction is for two photographs - the second is also a vintage photo (and South Island Landscape), but I don't believe it is hand colored.
They measure: 315w x 270h and 380w x 310h
