Olivia Pils is a well known artist from Berlin. In her pictures and prints she searches for the realms of beauty. "I am interested in the concept of beauty or attractive and its contrary the grotesque and unattractive (which i think is far more interesting), but fully aware that beauty is a label depending on personality, society and culture. So I like to play with mostly figurative pictures and turn them into monsters, but beautiful ones..."
