In 1962 Hergé collaborated with renowned French graphic artist Ray Savignac on an advertising poster for 'Orange Soda' soft drink.

THE ARTIST

Ray Savignac was a poster artist best known for his clever, happy images. In 1935, Savignac met the famous poster artist, Cassandre, and worked as an assistant until Paris was occupied in WWII. While his style differs from Cassandre’s purist deco work, like Cassandre, Savignac’s posters generally involve a solo figure, human or animal.
