THE ARTIST

Best known for her bright abstract artworks, artist and surface designer Maggi McDonald’s work is characterized by bold strokes in her signature vibrant colour palette. Working mostly in acrylics and using mainly a palette knife when painting, her works are intuitive and expressive as she draws inspiration from the world around her, especially the natural beauty of both South Africa where she grew up, and Australia which she now calls home.
