This icon is a print mounted on board then lacquered. It is made by Benedictine monks in Australia. Size is 10.5X15.5cm

Inscription on back reads " This icon coupling the majestic but compassionate Christ Pantocrator (Ruler of All) with the symbol of His Sacred Heart aflame with love for mankind, provides a very warm and approachable portrait of our Lord and personal saviour. Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus probably began around the time of St. Bonaventure in the 13th Century. St. Gertrude, St. John Eudes, and especially St. Margaret Mary Alacoque were other saints who helped spread the practice. Jesus is presented in a half length pose in this image, looking directly at the viewer, with his left hand holding a scroll representing His Divine Word and his right hand gesturing toward the Sacred Heart medallion.
