Ka-Zar The Savage | #12 to #22

Ka-Zar's second and most critically acclaimed own ongoing comic-book series. This time, the title is officially named "Ka-Zar the Savage" instead of just Ka-Zar. The series started out in 1981, not 4 years after the first ongoing Ka-Zar series ended, and lasted for 34 issues.

This series also stars Shanna The She-Devil.

While most copies of this issue have a blank panel on the bottom left of page 10, about 1600 copies (of 80000 issues printed) show a red ink drawing of Dante in that panel. In the "Bullpen Bulletins" page in Marvel Comics cover-dated June 1982, Editor-in-Chief Jim Shooter humorously explains this with "The First Annual Shooter Awards". Shooter wrote "The Award for Worst Engraver's Error goes to Chemical Color for Ka-Zar #12 in which an entire panel, a color-hold, was dropped out!" NOTE: This is precluded from a higher grade by a pen mark in the top right-hand corner.
