Description
The Story of Perfection Ice Cream (Jackie & Jane Learn the…) 1950s/60s, NZ - promotional comic - 16 pages, colour.
a wee gem - but sadly in bad repair and state, rusty staples, rips and tears and folds and writing - also some child has taken to this with a paint set - but still readable - printed by Whitcombe and Tombs Ltd in Chchch - where Perfection Ice Cream was based - it was bought out by Tip Top / General Foods in 1961.
I suspect this was based on an overseas comic and slightly adjusted for the local market - but maybe it was an all local effort - hard to say… . reference: http://www.nzicecream.org.nz/history-nz-perfection.htm
