“Roger Hall’s first experience of the Public Service came when as a nineteen-year-old immigrant he joined the State Insurance Office. He was there only two years, though more recently he has been back on the fringes of the Service as editor of the Department of Education’s magazine EDUCATION. He has also had great success as co-author of a number of revues and has written and on occasion acted for television. When in 1975 he was in America on a QEII Arts Council Grant and had an idea for a play set in an office, a variety of past experiences came together to produce GLIDE TIME, his first stage play.”
