Description

The Flower Game by Fleur Cowles

Very good hardback in good jacket.

How an imaginary enchanted island was created by more than 180 world celebrities for the artist Fleur Cowles when she asked them to play her Flower Game. The internationally known author and artist, Fleur Cowles, asked just under two hundred of her celebrated friends to play the Flower Game with her: 'If banished to an enchanted island, where everything would grow, which ten flowers would you need to take with you?' Their choices, in effect, revealed the most popular flowers of many parts of the world, and the rose as the most beloved. Black and white line illustration and 12 full colour reproductions of the artist's paintings.
