Writer Jackie Blackwood gives an overview of the areas they have visited on their travels round the country, arranged in geographical order as they work their way down the South Island from Banks Peninsula to Bluff, and back up the West Coast to the North Island, ending at Cape Reinga. He started his photographic career while working for the New Zealand architect Ian Athfield in Wellington, and on returning to Germany founded his publishing company KaJo. Since then he has produced prizewinning photographic German books and his work has been published in many major German magazines. Pictures from New Zealand was published by Craig Potton Publishing in 2004 and is still in print.
