ABOUT THIS BOOK: A collection of articles on the theme of social and everyday life over the years in Takapuna and the North Shore of Auckland's Waitemata Harbour. It is not a history although the arrangement of the articles is chronological, moving through the decades from a story of early Maori occupation, to the end of 1959 with the opening of the bridge.
