This book is a great compilation of newspaper and magazine articles, interviews with people related to the Beatles and the author's research revealing as much as possible how every song was thought, composed, developed. As the author himself says it's not a technical (musically speaking) registration of every recording session, but nonetheless extremely interesting. For die-hard fans who might even have some of the information scatered around hundreds of other articles or for newer fans who want to try to understand the magic of The Beatles, A Hard Day's Write is a very good read. Also excellent pictures and captions that add even more to the whole experience!
