Is the first volume in a projected series containing Maori-language versions of the biographies of Maori people whose stories are told in The Dictionary of New Zealand Biography. This volumes includes the biographies of 161 Maori people who made their mark between 1769 and 1869.

Condition: Some slight wear on outside spine of hard cover but otherwise in excellent condition. .
