About the Author

Lisa Shanahan studied Communications at Sydney University of Technology, where she majored in writing before going on to train as an actor at Theatre Nepean, at the University of Western Sydney. She then began teaching drama, and it was during this time that Lisa wrote her first play for children, and discovered that her true passion was not just writing, but writing for young people in particular.
